Church of St. Nicholas in St. Petersburg

Our parish has been acting since 2006 year. We work in the spiritual sphere because we understand it is of great demand for the contemporary society.

Church of St. Nicholas and bell tower has been built in 2004-2006 in New Village district. New Village (Finnish Mantere) is a historical district of Saint-Petersburg on the right Bolshoy Nevka bank (Primorsky district).

The Village appeared in the middle of the 18 the century as peasants settlement. It was called New Village in compared to the Old Village situated near Elagin island. Now it is new construction districts.

This district is like stone jungle for us, so we have decided to create spiritual oasis in it. So that Nicholai Bezrukov with group of religious people have built the church and the bell tower.

Archpriest Vladislav Antsibor headed this project.

Nowadays regular worships, tea parties with lectures for religious adults and youth groups are held. And aslo children's Sunday school is open.
